Throwback Thursday Challenge #8 - Episode-65

This week Throwback Thursday over at My Creative Time is "Birthday" theme.  So I love doing Birthday layout for family and friends.
I had a friend requested a pirate theme birthday page for her son last birthday celebration.
So with all that in mind I whipped up this page for her and The My Creative Time Throwback Thursday challenge.

Page layout base was on a 12x12 basic card stock in bright Caribbean blue
The tree was cut at 6" from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge.
I cut out the pirate pinata "Octopus" at 4" used Cricut Create a Critter in a basic card stock of baby blue dab blue ink around to make him pop...
The pirate hat was done with basic black and white for the details.

The pinata candies where done with yellow, orange, lime green, and bright yellow card stock using the Cricut cartridge Celebrations.

Ahoy and Pinata Time was cut at 2"using Cricut Disney Mickey Font out of basic black card stock.  The stitching was done with white Gell Roller Pen.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed doing them.

Christmas in July Challenges

Christmas in July challenges over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and The Cuttlebug Spot  both are have great designers and I do love my cuttlebug embosser so I thrilled to get to enter my card into these challenges.

I used several Cricut cartridges for this Christmas Card design.

I started out with a deep royal red card stock for the card base just folded in in half giving  you a nice large surface to work with.

The trees where cut from Doodlecharms Cricut Cart using the border tab and pine green card stock to get  the roll of trees... Pop them up with double sided tape and off set from the cut out base to give them a forest feel.
The trees where embossed using my cuttlebug folder Christmas snowflakes.

The sweet deer was cut from Create a Critter using 2 1/2 size using a dark brown for layer 1 and lighter beige for layer 2.
Basic black was use for deer base.
I love bling so I gave him a BIG rhinestone for his red nose.

With a poka dots background paper matched the color of my card perfectly.
I cut the Merry Christmas from Beyond Birthdays Cricut Cart and shadowed with the same pine green used for the trees.
Love Christmas !!!

Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it...

Cricut Cardz Challenge

I am so excited to enter this challenge on Cricut Cardz Challenge # 13 design blog.
The challenge was to make a card using cake, cupcake, cookies or candy..

I made my cupcake card using my Cricut Home Decor cart for the cute cupcake design.
I cut out the cupcake at 6" to get it the full size of the card to show the cute design details.
For the card base I used orange mango card stock and made sure I used the flip side so you have a mirror image for the card to fit together nicely.

I chose a cute scrap piece of paper I had with raised embossed floral design for the cupcake holder.

The frosting was done with another scrap I had on had hand in dusty rose.
I used glitter paper for the cherry on top and use the heart from the frosting design that was extra…
I love using stamp where I can and the perfect one was my eat Cake

Tuesday Challenge Made by Momo

Hello my Royal followers, I have been challenged again to enter another
one of Made by Momo  Tuesday Challenge
This challenge was theme “A Girly Affair” so the first thoughts that pop into my head was pictures of my girls playing dress up… they’d do this for hours and we had a trunk full of items to play make believe with. Their favorite was dressing up as the bride...
So I decided to use the Circuit Paper Doll Dress Up™.
I cut my “girly girl” out at 4” setting doll base in vanilla card stock
My “Girly Girl” Bride hair was cut from card stock yellow.
I dab around to make her pop with Tsukineko Versa Magic Chalk Inks color straw.
The wedding dress and veil where cut from basic card stock bright white and I dab around it with Pink Petunia Versa Magic Inks to match the pink background.
I figure every bride need something blue so I added some rhinestones to the veil.
The flowers where a fun challenges as they just never cut quite right so my solution and of course “Bling” was done by adding rhinestones from Michael’s dollar bin...

Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it…
