Pink Cricut Design Team

My Grandson  Jason was my inspiration for this layout he just loved my card with the motorcycle on it and wanted one too… I just could not resist this future little Heartbreaker.

I started my layout with a beige brazzil paper in 12x12.
The main picture was boarder using orange and black card stock leaving the black bottom heavy to allow the Harley-Davidson logo and paper flames, added the Heartbreaker stamp to bottom of the photo it's just perfect added touch...

Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls was used for the road which was cut at 2" using basic black and white for the center lines….

"JASON"  lettering was cut at 1”out of the Cricut Carousel Cart both in Orange and Black to shadow. I used a gelly pen to stitch around it for effect.

The smaller photo was cut using orange and black allowing room for Pink By Design Stamps :
Bad to the Bone, Kick up your heels, and You're Electric... they describe Jason to a tee... and the Route 66 add the final touch...

The motorcycle was cut at 3" and you have to cut several layer for the chrome, orange and Harley flames… I used a metallic for the chrome on the bike and to get the wheels to stand out I stitch around then with white gelly pen. I cut the flames for the bike from the same Harley Davidson Paper to give it a look that Bad to the Bone...

Makes  sure you check out all the other designers too so you can see
what they put together for your enjoyment

Dawn's Addiction: Cricut Cartridges & SALE ITEMS at Friend Prices

A friend of mine  Dawn's Addiction has got a lot of Brand New Cricut Cartridges that she got great deals one. She'd been sharing it with friends, and local crafters only, but since having purchased so many at the low prices, she wanted to share! Most of her cartridges are under $30 with a few of the higher demand ones (that she couldn't even find for less) being slightly more.

Like I said, she was only offering this to people who could come and pick them up, and friends she knew and now wants to offer them to everyone! You do have to pay shipping, and there is basically no mark up on what she paid, so no negotiation room, but with prices that are so far below retail, no negotiation should be needed.

If she has them listed, they are available and ready to ship. Since it's not a business (just a lady who did the hunting for deals for you) or store there is no tax, and no storefront. You do have to e-mail her, and she will get right back to you about the cartridges you want.

I hope you will check it out, and don't forget to let her know I sent you!

Wee Memories ~ Challenge # 18

I seem to be on a challenge roll this week...  Wee Memories~Challenge # 18 is having a really fun challenge "Buttons, Brads, and Bling"... now I all about the bling and the QUEEN loves her bling..
I had these cute buttons I been waiting for a project to use them on.. they where purchased at Michael's in the bargain bin for $1.  I decided on using the biggest one button and  I like how it makes a bright sun... make me happy... it's was perfect for this card because it was made to cheer up my MIL who feeling down...

I cut the card out of basic card stock using a turquoise color and dabbing ink around to make it stand out.
The tree cut at 4" using basic brown for the trunk and a sage color for the leaves both have been inked around with gingerbread and olive inks by Versa~Magic by Tsukineko.

The owl was cut at
1 1/2 " using the orange card stock and the same sage for the wings..
My sun was the shadow cut from my Hello Kitty Greeting Cricut Cart..
Now I have to apologise because I used a friend cricut carts for the tree and owl and I did not write down the names of them... my bad :o(
But I know that most everyone has a tree or owl on one of their carts...so create with what you have with your cards.

The stamp "Wanna HUG a tree with ME? is from Michael bargin bin for $1..
guess I all about the bargin too :o)

Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it on my cricut...

OTWC Challenge #20

I just love the challenge over at Off the Wall Craftiness , Kim always picks a color theme and even gives you the color palete and even an inspirational photo to follow...and this time she had purple which is one of my favorite colors.

I used a base white for my card base
cutting it at a 5" square. I than framed the card with a
deep royal purple at 4 1/2 this just brought all the colors
for the challenge together.

My cat was cut by a dear friend of mine Ruthie from the Cricut Cartridge Cindy Loo.
 I believe it was cut at 3 " using paper from Joann's 5 /$1.
Ruthie used the purrfect blues on the kitty for this challenge.
I used mounting tape to help raise up the kitty of the card to pop it off the card.

We both enjoy scraping and cutting out cuts together. I am bless she gave me this one it's purrfect... Thank's Ruthie you're the best... her blog is September Ninth she a great card designer check her site out.

I added a bit of bling on the card for the cute kitty's flower... she looks purrfect with it ....

I finished of my card with

You're the Cats Meow...

I did this on my computer and printed it on nice white card stock... framed in the match paper used for the cat's body...

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoy putting it together...

Wacky Wednesday - Challenge #4 Halloween Theme

Okay this was fun and quick card I made to enter over at More Than Favors
I been wanting to use my Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for along time in a challenge and just adore the cute layers and effect this can bring to a scrapbook page or card.

So these last few days my 3 year old
grandson Jason been wanting to cut
with me so he pick what he wants me to cut.
And then I get to find the challenge to enter it into.

So he choose the Paper Dolls all dressed up for Halloween.
Now this gave us of course 4 dress up dolls we pick this one to enter.
We made all of them as cute cards for his friends at his school...

Our ghostly entry was cut at 4 " out of
basic white card stock.
We chalked around our ghost with lite blue to help him stand out...

Our card was cut at a squared 5" using basic white card stock...

The background trick or treat blue paper was taken from a Paper Pizzazz Fall & Halloween Pack from HOT OF THE PRESS...

The BOOO! stamp was one of the Michael's $1 bin clear stamps... we used it on the front of our card.

We used a light lavender paper for the inside of our card and stamped in Grape the same BOOO! around the edges.

Well Jason and I hope you enjoy our entry to the Wacky Wednesday Challenge....

and Jason say BOOO! to all...

Throwback Thursday Challenge #9 - Episode ~ 74

I so excited that the Throwback Thursday Challenge is back.. with all the fun things that Emma been doing  she needed to take the time off...
Now that it's back and I will be entering this cute Hello Kitty Card...
I do have to confess I have the Paisley Cricut Cart...

But I started to pick out what I wanted to do
and my grandson Jason came over
And in his sweet angelica voice that make
his MEMA so proud...
Jason  said "I wanna cut Mema..." so what was I to~do but let him pick out what he wanted me to cut...

This is how I came to use the HELLO KITTY Cart..
We cut the Hello Kitty Cheerleader out at 4 " using some bright color gloss paper stock from Wal ~ Mart.

The white card base measure 11" by 7" and the School Theme background paper I bought at JoAnn's on special 5 /$1 .

The background paper expresses all good qualities sportsmanship  should be about...

Of course The Queen all about the bling and Jason allowed me to put my rhinestone on his card...

Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed spending time with my grandson cutting on our cricut...

Challenge me Monday #22

Hello everyone I just had to enter the Challenge me Monday over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog

Since it is National " Smile " Week,  we had to create any project just include the word "Smile"

Here my entry...

Card was cut out of basic white
card stock at 5" by 5".

I cut out the framed from a cute designer paper stack called
"The Sweet Stack" by DCWV.

Love this stack if you have a soft
spot for adorable you got to
get this STACK...

The peach was cut at 2 1/2 using a basic card stock of a rosy color from the Create a Critter Cart.

I chalked around to make this little gal pop.

I also used mounting tape to raise up the little peach off of the page.

The "Tada" was cut out at 1 1/2 and I cut it out twice so to raise it up for a three D effect.

The SMILE was a stamp I got from dollar bin at Michael's Crafts.

Matched the inside of the
card with same pattern paper just flip to give it a different effect .

I cut a matching pink hue for a personal note and "Tada" one adorable card to give to a friend.

Hope you enjoy this adorable card as it brought a SMILE to my face making it...

Wacky Wednesday - Color Challenge #2

I decided to join the Wacky Wednesday - Color Challenge this week... I was in the process of making a 50th Birthday Card for a friend and already had the color picked out... so the challenge for me was to get my new camera to take a good picture... I will have to play with it more..
So here my card cut at 8" by 4" out of basic yellow card stock and scored down the middle to make a good long card.

The background paper was a really cute birthday sayings  12x12 from Creative Imaginations a design by Alison Wong.

I used my new Cricut Cartridge Cindy Loo to cut the 50 out at 1 1/2 " just used a scrap pieces I had hanging around. Same for the back ground green color.
I am all about having some "bling" on a card so I added rhinestone to the 50 to give it some sparkle.

Hope you enjoy this as much as enjoyed making it for my friend
