January's Digi Monday Challenge # 36

It's Digi Monday with the Paper Playtime Queens
This is our very first post for Digi Monday's
The last Monday of every month
this year will be our

DIGI MONDAY!

This is a special Monday of the month, because we will have SEVERAL DIGI COMPANIES offering spectacular prizes all on this Monday!
THE CHALLENGE FOR DIGI MONDAYS WILL ALWAYS BE

"ANYTHING GOES".
I just love this cute little bird from the
Doodle Pantry {he just so happy}
Now on to how I created this adorable little happy bird
First you take your Digi Image and make 5 copies all the same size
one is cut out as close to the image as possible
Now you can see the layer of your image below
The wings are cut out from 3 different images
Layered with Silicone Sealant {clear} in between
the silicone allows the image to become 3-D

You can see more here on this side...

Even the face and cheek and little guys
Beak is cut out and raised up...
I run my embosser tool tip to give
Cheeks some dimensions

This view helps you see all the layers
Curling your tips of the wings make the
whole image look like its flying...

This was my very first digi and I love how easy it
was to size in the word program...
That how I got the You Make Me Laugh
Punched it out from my EK Success Punch
Doodle around it with a Mark-it markers..

Below is my Digi Team Members

I'm a new follower. My party tip would be to have your camera/s available to all guests to take a snap so you don't miss anything. It's always interesting to see each guests perspective as well.

I'm going to lift your idea. I use a lot of place cards.

Scrappin Roots Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrappin Roots Blog Hop

This will be a blog hop showcasing where it all began....
Scrapbooking and layouts.
Most, if not all of us began our paper crafting obsession with scrapbooking those precious memories we have in the form of photos. Unfortunately for most of us that where we stop,  So to encourage each other
as well other scrappers.
We thought this would be a great way to revisit where it all began.

We have a fabulous line up of extremely talented ladies.
And there will be some blog candy along the way.

The Queen really love my scrapbooking and I keep up
with it by special order from word of mouth...
The Queen does a lot of baby books from birth to one up to five...
There seem to be a point where family have more kids
and less time to do these project on their own...
So I get to fill in the gap with my creations...

Depending on what the client wants determine the layout
This one I am working on they wanted a
Mother Goose nursery rhymes theme...

This album start out with the
Hey Diddle Diddle the Cat and the Fiddle...
Here I did the dish ran away with the spoon....

Here we have our cow jumping over the moon..

I then tied it all together with the background paper.
I have a large stack of nursery theme papers that I keep standard on hand.
This one is very popular with first time moms...

I really enjoyed sharing the other side of
The Scrapbooking Queen

Now on to some blog candy for stoppin by our hop...

The Queen will be giving away any
two 12 x 12 page layout of your choice

Angelica Happy Birthday Card

It's Angelica's Birthday today and I wanted to
show you the cute card I sent off
to her for her special day

I just love this card with it's polka dotted paper
The Dots, Stripes & Plaids Stack

I also used the Post-it Adhesive back papers
I really like that you can move it for centering.

I got my bling for this cute card from
Micheal's new $1 bins... it's such a good deal

I used my royal white gel pen to accent all.
So Angelica I hope you have the
Happiest of Birthday for your
Special Day...
