Remember to leave comments on every stop along the way, and leave a 2nd comment on the Flaunt It Fridays blog saying you've visited everyone and left them comment love for a 2nd chance to win the Grand Prize sponsored by

The Challenge is to use the snowman (page 29)
from Winter Frolic
Flaunt your stuff and upload your entry to the

I created a snow globe using the doodle charms cart
and cutting it out as large as my gypsy would allow
me on a 12 by 12 chip board
I then cut out light blue for background
using the same cut..
(you have to hide some of the cuts on the design
to create just the outline of the snow globe)

To create the globe part I just
took the same cut and used it on a
second layer on my gypsy... to create a inner circle
(cut out two of these) just make sure the second layer is
cutting out the outline of the snow globe...(see picture)

Using one of my cricut mat plastic
covers I cut out the
clear part of the globe and
secured them between the two extra cuts pieces.
To get the 3-D effect I used mounting tape
in the 1/4 size all around the globe
(you will need your glue gun to fill in spots)

Now before you put this all together we have to add some
snow for a snow globe... so I took of one of my pillows
and used that very small pellets
(see picture it's really small )
Added fine Glitter to make it sparkle...

This is where your glue gun comes in handy
If after you used the mounting tape and put everything together...added your snow inside your globe you will have a few spot that need extra sealing to keep the pretty snow inside...

The base of the snow globe was cut out of cranberry red paper and I stitched around it to make it pop... added a white ribbon and tag Stamped with

Wishing you a very Merry Holiday Season...

Here a few more pictures of the snow globe and the adorable snowman who started this whole challenge ...Doesn't he look cute with his pipe and sparkle ear muffs...
The trees where cut using basic card stock in two tones of green... I also used the Stickles in all colors to make the tree Christmas looking... Just love bling and they make perfect ornaments... and the glitter star on to top it all off...

I really enjoyed making this snow globe for
Flaunt it Friday Challenge... hope you will join our
challenge and Flaunt your stuff...

Now on to the blog hop part of our post...
I used the same snowman from winter frolic
I created icicles using MS drippy goo punch...

It makes perfect icicles don't you think...
Now doesn't this little snowman seem so happy...
The stamps for this adorable snowman faces is from
Happy Lashes...

The "Let it Snow" sentiment is from
Winter Fun Stamp Collection

That snow globe is adorable! Totally relating to the kids moving back home, don't worry, they do move out again...eventually...lol! Meanwhile all you can do is just breathe and "go with the flow". I used to walk around saying "This too shall pass" in my mind all the time when it just got to be too much. The good news is that they are all settled into their own places and happy!
