Oh my, that card is so cute, and the cleavage, well......My husband knows I love coconut cream pie, so on every Valentine's day he would stop at a local restaurant that made the BEST pie and bring me a piece. I am rather sad though, after 25 years the restaurant closed last May. No pie this year.

Tanya said...

Too cute!!! Sadly, we are not big "V. Day" people. I think "love" should be shown all year and not just one special day. Just my thoughts. So, we do not do anything special. Think 5 kids might put a damper on it as well.

Hi there, loving this blog hop and seeing all these great projects. My favorite surprise wasn't really a surprise but rather planned - my youngest daughter was born on Valentine's Day, 21 years this year. Ashley has made my Valentine's Day special each year!

CeltikGirlCreations said...

I love your site and projects!! My fav Valentines Day surprise was last year. I was at work and my hubby and kids brought me a surprise lunch and during my break we ate together. They also made me homemade cards too!

How beautiful...I sooooo love your card!!

My Valentine Surprise was the first Valentine's Day that I was married. I have NEVER celebrated Valentine's Day before because it has always been my Grandma's birthday. So we always had a birthday party!!!

My husband had a bear and card on the bed waiting for me!!! I really felt bad since I didn't have anything for him!

This year we will be celebrating my Grandma's 91st birthday!!!

Love your card it is adorable and that paper is awesome! My best valentine day surprise was a diamond braclet from my husband. Normally we don't really buy each other stuff so this was definitley a huge surprise

Ellen Jarvis said...

Hello, Your Royal Highness. CardMonkey here, a member of your Royal Court. As usual, love your stuff, and I love-love-have-a-♥-on for your new blog design. So nice! Anywhoooo, my best valentine's day surprise came from my then-fiancee, now-hubby. We used to take turns planning trips over the V-Day weekend ... he on even number years, me on the odd ones (figures!). He pulled out all the stops one year, spa visit, champagne and at the end of the dinner out, waiter hands me a key to our suite where dessert would be served. Oooh-la-la. The FUNNIEST one he planned was to a hotel suite that had an in-room swimming pool. Not a hot tub, a swimming pool! In the dead of winter! It was funny because it was OBVIOUSLY the kind of hotel that you rent by the hour (hint-hint) with not a stick of furniture other than the circular bed with a mirror over it. LOL!! These days we're much tamer AND much older.

Hi Theresa,

I love, love, love that idea!!! :) I have seen them around the Stampin' Up! blogs and I can't wait to try it (thanks for reminding me)!

My favorite Valentine's surprise would have to be the year I couldn't celebrate because I was a college student and babysitting overnight (for 10 days). My then boyfriend surprised me by bringing Chinese take-out after the kids went to bed with the most beautiful flower arrangement (he had done himself!) in a heart-shaped, lidded wicker-like basket (I still have it; my daughter uses it for her barrettes & ponytail holders)!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing,

Jennifer

That heart couple is so cute. I really can't think of a favorite Valentine surprise, as I do not hold it as a measure of my husband's love. He does special little things for me all the time that I remember, even though I do not remember a specific valentine detail. Which is okay with me!
