This Birthday Bash is all about celebrating and planning for
anyone special birthday event...
So I really wanted to do a banner for Alex's Birthday one
she could hang in her scrap area to remember
this very special day...
I also like to push myself to try things
I haven't done a lot of before.
So this is my first birthday banner...
but most likely will not be my last.
I really enjoyed making it .
So I cut this one out for Alex and used all the
Post~it Adhesive back papers...
{really like this paper for project like this}
The banner base was cut from
Once Upon a Princess
Lettering was from Plantin School Book
The paper was open stock paper with a lot of
Polka Dots which I really like for birthday themes...
I inked around the edges with a soft green and used my royal
White Gel Pen to stitch around the edges of the lavender cuts.
The Hot Pink and Lime Green make for really popular
birthday color themes .You could easily tie all this
in with matching party accessories
They have a lot of cuteness in that cart...
and some awesome birthday cuts for invites and
theme related parties...
I also doodle around all of the cuts to make them pop.
The cute cupcake can also be used for name plates
or put on a card for a person birthday ...
I doodle the frosting {just too cute}

Every birthday is special! But a standout for me was my 18th. In Australia, that is when we are an adult (voting, driving, drinking etc) I spent it with my best friends and we had a blast.
My last b-day was special. My boyfriend surprised me with a day at Disneyland. It was really sweet :). I'm a new follower. Thanks for the chance to win!
I think my favorite birthday memory has to be every year. I get to spend my birthday with family and friends. We have BBQ and cake. It's fun.. Tfs your project..

My special birthday was April 26, 1992. That was the year my oldest daughter was born. Although she was born in January, it was my first birthday as a mother and that made it special.
I have since enjoyed many birthdays not only with my oldest daughter but with my middle daughter and a son. But nothing will ever be more special than that first birthday as a mother.

Most memorable birthday, hmm...one my mother couldn't be there and set up a search with clues on each found gift to the whereabouts of teh next. Another birthday 5 of my friends and I went to King's Island, it was my 16th. Oh wait, the birthday that I went into, oh that was my 16th as well, I believe, I went to take my shower for school, come back and there are 16 pumpkins on my bed, I love pumpkins. There was a note that said I should find my fairy godmother and ask her to turn one into a car, lol. My mom is great!

Love it. Best parties ever were my kids b-days. So much fun, so much candy...we celebrated every year with a great party, with games, treat bags, and of course cake and ice cream. Wish i was into scrapping then as all the ideas here today are fantastic.

Such a pretty banner!! TFS!My fav birthday was when my hubby and little sister surprised me for my 21st birthday in the morning told me to get dressed and took me to six flags, They had batman during the show come down and give me a hug and tell me happy birthday in front of everyone, ( i think jubby got a little jealous he wasn't supposed to hug me lol) then and the end of the day they took me to eat at the rainforest cafe! Special birthday you say? Well, with my birthday being 5 days before Christmas I don't have too many special ones, although, this year I have to say was super special since Hubby and the kids planned a day for me all on their own. Who woulda knew they could all keep a secret! lol

My special birthday has to be 1-16 lol. when I used to spend the day with my dad.. He's always take a finger of frosting and paint my nose and smile, I'd laugh each year more and more and i'd find it in me to laugh as if it was the funniest thing.. as if I was 3 all over again and giggling at frosting on my nose was hysterical! 16 was my last bday we spent together.. so they're all special

My husband interrupted me, and I got so excited about coming back, I forgot to leave the comment! I love th banner---it's so bright and cheerful and fun! I've had lots of birthdays, but one that stands out was when I was a little girl and I got a new Barbie Doll (they were pretty new back then!)--only it was in my cake...the cake was her skirt, and she was standing in the center, with an icing bodice. Very sweet Banner!! TFS!!! And I have alot of special birthdays, but my most favorite was last my 50th Birthday and my DH arranged it and had all our friends waiting for me at a resturaunt and when I got there, one of our friends was waiting at the door with a wheelchair and made me get in it and wheeled me through the whole restraunt to my waiting surpeize party!!! It was Awesome!!!

Special birthday....Well, not sure that I have a special birthday memory. But I do have one that I will never forget. My eighteenth birthday was a week before I graduated. Someone at school was nice enough to share Tonsilitis with me. I was so sick and could barely talk. Then my boyfriend (now hubby) has to go to Kingman to get his car fixed for cheap (carbon monxidie leaking into the car isn't that bad is it?). So here I was sick, miserable, and lonely. :-)
