My Favorite Things Blog Hop Jan 15th

Welcome to The Scrapbooking Queen and the ...A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS Blog Hop!

If you've come from visiting Rebecca Blog you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Kassidy@ Inking it Up Crazy and start at the beginning. We would love to share a few of our favorite things with you today!

Each Design Team member will be featuring a project made especially for this hop using their favorite crafting tools and techniques. Make sure to check out each member's blog. There will be some fun prizes along the way, AND there will be some AWESOME ideas!

Everyone knows I love crowns and I have been called the
Queen of Everything for many years...
so I picked my blog name The Scrapbooking Queen
to go along with that image...

I love bling and try to find any reason to add it to cards...
I just adore the PKS Faces they just make any card or
cut look so adorable
Here how I reach that extra cuteiness on my cards.

First Stamping is key to a clean image
Make sure you're on a solid flat surface to stamp
I use a Acid~Free Fast Drying Ink
StazOn {Jet Black}
{see where I pressed too hard}

I then take my Royal White Gel Pen
The better the Pen the nicer the flow of ink.
To brighten up any Image add a few smartly placed dots...

Notice I add dots to the eyelashes this really
make them sparkley

I use craft chalk and a good eye
 make ~up applicator to add the cheeks

a few more of the White Gel Ink Dots...

The mouth or lips depending on your stamp image
Use a Bic Mark~its or Red or Pink Gel Pens

Finally the finished image..

Stitch around your image to make it "POP"

These added detail to any card or scrapbook layout will just
make the your creation carry the "WOW" factor..

For my giveaway I like to give a set of

  1. I really like you to become a follower of my blog.
  2. Comment what your favorite tip or tool that you use.
I will have Random.Org pick a winner and post next week on my blog...

And I love very much using the Bow-Easy tool for the ribbons... It's great! Although mine is a bit "ghetto".. It's just a piece of cardstock cut out to look like the Bow-easy, but it still works very well. ;)
